To inform you of and to comply with, the laws established by the federal <br /> government in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (29 CFR 1910:1200, <br /> Hazard Communication Standard) and the Hazard Communication Standards of <br /> the various states. <br /> 2. To inform you of your role in fulfilling these requirements. <br /> Il. OBJECTIVE <br /> The objective of this session is: <br /> 1. To give you the information you need to know about hazardous materials you <br /> may be exposed to and what measures you may take to protect yourself from <br /> those hazards. <br /> 2. To train you in the use of this information. <br /> III. HAZARD COMMUNICATION <br /> 1. The hazardous materials you may come in contact with include: <br /> a. Gasoline <br /> b. Diesel Fuel (if at your location) <br /> C. Ethyl Alcohol (Ethanol) (if at your location) <br /> d. Propane <br /> e. <br /> (Additional store-specific materials, such as compressed gases, sanitizes, chemical <br /> cleaners, etc., should be listed in the blanks above. <br /> 2.
