7. Measures we have taken to protect you from exposure to hazardous chemicals are: <br /> a. Installation of underground tank systems in accordance with National Fire <br /> Protection Association (NFPA) and American Petroleum Institute (API) <br /> guidelines. <br /> b. This training session. <br /> c. Providing you with supplementary training materials and data, such as the <br /> following pamphlets: <br /> (1) "About Hazard Communication" informs you of the requirements of <br /> the Hazard Communication program, including labels, Material Safety <br /> Data Sheets, and training. <br /> (2) "About Protection Yourself with PPE" advises you how to properly <br /> guard against the hazards associated with skin contact with chemicals. <br /> (3) "About Warning Labels and Material Safety Data Sheets" explains <br /> labeling requirements and how to use Material Safety Data Sheets. <br /> 8. A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each of these chemicals is available at <br /> your store at (location of <br /> MSDS) for your use and information. For your own protection, your are required <br /> to make yourself thoroughly familiar with the contents of these MSDS application <br /> to those hazardous materials within your workplace. Instructions on the use and <br /> interpretation are contained in the pamphlets "About Hazard Communication" <br /> and "About Warning Labels and Material Safety Data Sheets" <br /> Should you have any further questions or desire more information on the <br /> hazardous materials identified within your store, contact either your store owner <br /> who will obtain this information and provide it to you, or you may contact the <br /> Loss Control Office at(206)285-2400. <br /> 9. The Hazard Communication Training Program developed by us: <br /> a. Informs you that we monitor, through research and testing, your work place <br /> for chemical hazards. <br /> b. Provide you with information on the physical and health hazards of chemicals <br /> in your work area. <br /> c.
