The following is an itemized list of hazardous materials violations that have not been <br /> addressed for UNITED PIPE & STEEL CORPORATION as of November30, 2018. <br /> Open violations from October 10, 2018 inspection <br /> Violation#5 - Failed to complete and/or submit hazardous materials inventory for all reportable materials on <br /> site. <br /> One 330 gallon tote of diesel exhaust fluid was found on site that has not been reported. Any material that meets or <br /> exceeds the reportable quantity shall be reported in the facility's business plan. Immediately log into the California <br /> Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, add the materials to the hazardous material <br /> inventory, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> The Hazardous Materials Inventory form for the 55 gallon drum of stoddard solvent wrongly identifies the maximum <br /> amount present at the facility as 1.5 gallons and the average amount as .06 gallons; the location of the propane is <br /> wrongly identified as the north west corner of building vs. the north east corner of building. This information must be <br /> current and submitted as part of the business plan. Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting <br /> System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for <br /> approval. <br /> Violation#6 -Failed to complete and/or submit a site map with all required content. <br /> The map does not show the storm drain located at the west lot of the facility, the actual location of the propane has <br /> been moved to the north east area inside the building, does not show the location of the tote of diesel exhaust fluid, <br /> and the difference between the spill kit and the fire extinguishers has not been defined in the legend. A site map <br /> shall contain a north orientation, loading areas, internal roads, adjacent streets, storm and sewer drains, access and <br /> exit points, emergency shutoffs, evacuation staging areas, hazardous material handling and storage areas, and <br /> emergency response equipment. If a site map element is not applicable for your facility then list it on the map and <br /> label as "NA". Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
