TELIC ENGINEERING CORPORATION (TEC) STANDARD OPERATING <br /> PROCEDURE (SOP) # 88-004. <br /> INVENTORY CONTROL PROCEDURE: <br /> SCOPE: <br /> It is the intent of this procedure to provide <br /> mandatory guidelines for the inventory and <br /> deficiency reporting procedures of all operations <br /> equipment both active and back-up as well as the <br /> corporate support inventory. <br /> ACTIVE INVENTORY: <br /> The active inventory shall be considered that <br /> minimum inventory designated to be carried on an <br /> emergency response unit as indicated by the <br /> respective response unit inventories. The active <br /> inventory shall be physically and accurately checked <br /> each Monday morning. If the response unit is not <br /> available on Monday morning, the inventory will be <br /> accomplished on the first normal workday the unit is <br /> available. This inventory will be for quantity as <br /> well as operating condition of all equipment <br /> including the vehicle itself. Operating condition <br /> includes but is not limited to: <br /> O Vehicle; tires, fuel, oil, brake fluid, engine, <br /> drive train, and general cleanliness <br /> O Air bottles; 30-minute bottles full, 305 cu ft <br /> "T" bottles minimum of 1500 psi <br /> O Portable shower; to fill line and 100 psi <br /> pressure <br /> O HNU Photoionizer; top charged and functional, <br /> calibrated monthly <br /> O Combustible gas indicator/oxygen availability <br /> meter; drained and charged weekly, calibrated <br /> monthly <br /> O Splash suits, environmental suits, breathing <br /> apparatus, air masks; inspected and tagged monthly <br /> (see respiratory protection sop 88-001) <br /> O Batteries; removed from lanterns and flashlights <br /> and checked <br /> O First aid kit; inventoried monthly <br /> O Fire extinguisher; visually inspected for seal <br /> and charge monthly, serviced by approved fire <br /> extinguisher service company annually <br /> O Draeger pump; leak test weekly <br /> O 40 CFR and 49 CFR; last posted update <br /> 15 - <br />
