The underground pipe from the tank area to the first building(thru the parking lot and driveway) needs to be
filled with inert solid (grouted with cement slurry). Elite IV has submitted a plan to do this.
2. The below grade horizontal pipe section(unburied) in the building basement needs to be removed or filled with
inert solid.
3. The short underground section between the buildings(approx. 30 feet long) needs soil sampling under the pipe
and the pipe needs to be filled with inert solid.
4. The vertical unburied, above grade pipe section that runs to the roof can remain in place for use in emergency.
Garrett Backus
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E Hazelton Ave,Stockton, CA 95205
Phone: (209)468-2986
Fax: (209)468-3433
Email: gbackus@sicehd.com
i
