If the soil removed during the sampling process is found to be contaminated it must be <br /> disposed of at an approved disposal location.Treatment of soil onsite can only be performed <br /> under a hazardous waste treatment permit. <br /> 2. A copy of the"Site Health& Safety Plan"must be on the job site for review. <br /> 3. See pages 7& 8 of the permit application for required analytical tests and number of samples <br /> to be taken and witnessed by this department. Form EH 23 046 Revised 08/01/11 must be <br /> utilized. <br /> 4. In addition,the following information must be submitted within 30 days after the UST <br /> removal date: <br /> (a) Soil and piping rinsate analytical results must come directly to this department from a <br /> third party California certified laboratory with affixed chain of custody. <br /> (b) Hazardous Waste Manifest or hazardous waste determination for soil excavated during <br /> the sampling process and the piping rinsate. <br /> 5. Schedule the primary piping and secondary piping tightness tests at least 48 hours in advance <br /> with the EHD inspector. The EHD inspector will witness the soap and pressure tests of the <br /> repaired pipe. <br /> 6. This permit expires 180 days from the approval date. <br /> 7. Schedule the piping closure and sampling inspections at least 48 hours in advance with the <br /> EHD inspector.
