04 April 1997 <br />AGE -NC Project No. 97-0312 <br />Mr. Michael Infuma <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY PHS-EHD <br />304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />Subject: Tentative Schedule of Work <br />CHEROKEE TRUCK STOP (Former Delta Truck Sales) <br />3535 East Cherokee Road, Stockton, California <br />Dear Mr. Infuma: <br />In accordance with the .request of Mr. Ellis Cecchini of Cecchini, Cecchini and Giovannoni, <br />Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared the following' tentative schedule of work for <br />the completion of assessment activities, removal of underground storage tanks (USTs), installation <br />of new USTs or above -ground storage tanks (ASTs) and remediation of hydrocarbon -impacted soil <br />and ground water at 3535 East Cherokee Road, Stockton, California. <br />The tentative schedule of work is as follows: <br />March 1997 to ? Continue ground water monitoring on a quarterly basis at the site. <br />April 1997 Submittal of UST removal work plan to the PHS-EHD. Removal plan will <br />include procedures for excavation of hydrocarbon -impacted soil, if <br />encountered. <br />May 1997 Review and approval of UST removal work plan by the PHS-EHD. <br />June - July 1997 Removal of existing USTs, dispenser. islands and piping. Excavation of <br />hydrocarbon -impacted soil from the UST and dispenser areas. Excavated soil <br />will be stockpiled on-site for characterization. Installation of new USTs or <br />ASTs, if necessary. <br />August i 797 Disposal of stuekpiicu hydrocarbon -impacted soil.
