V <br /> SITE CONTAMINATION WORK PLAN <br /> September 1995 <br /> Tracy Golf& Country Club <br /> 35200 South Chrisman Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr. Ron Carney and Ms. Cindy Clark of Tracy Golf& Country <br /> Club (TGCC), Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Work Plan for the <br /> installation of five "direct push" penetrations to evaluate the extent of hydrocarbon soil impaction <br /> beneath the 11th tee at the above referenced site. <br /> The proposed soil investigation is performed under the authorization of TGCC and is done to fulfill <br /> a directive of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services -Environmental Health Division (PHS- <br /> EHD). The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure <br /> 2. <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1. SITE LOCATION <br /> The site is located at 35200 Chrisman Road near the City of Tracy, San Joaquin County, California. <br /> The site is further described as being located within the northwest quarter of Section 35, Township <br /> 3 South, Range 5 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Figure 1). The Assessors parcel number <br /> (APN) is 253-270-20.The site is located on the east side of Chrisman Road, south of Highway 132, <br /> at the Tracy Golf& Country Club on the 11th tee. Local land use in the immediate vicinity of the site <br /> is agricultural. <br /> 2.2. UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> It is our understanding that one underground storage tank (USTs) containing gasoline was removed <br /> from an area near the maintenance building. Soil was excavated from the UST area and stockpiled <br /> near the eleventh tee. The PHS-EHD is requiring an investigation of the eleventh tee area to <br /> determine if any hydrocarbon impacted soil was placed in the area (See Figure 2). <br /> 2.3. REGIONAL GEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The subject site is located in the eastern portion of the Great Valley geomorphic province of <br /> California. The valley is a nearly flat, elongate trough trending northwest and southeast for <br />
