I believe the proper course of action by the county in this
case should have been for the county to notify Southland that
a more stringent tank performance standard had been set
within San Joaquin county and that being that this tank was
inconclusive, that it should be retested.
It is my understanding that all tanks have been re -tested on
an annual basis as required by state and local requirements
and that all tanks have met their compliance objectives with
no repairs or modifications having been made.
I request that the unauthorized release notification be
voided for reasons which I have previously stated.
If you should have any comments or questions regarding this
letter, feel free to contact me at (415) 463-2711.
