The unit can report status
on all monitored sensors.
Note: For units that are enrolled in Veeder-Root's Simplicity service it is suggested that
sensor users review their Simplicity monthly compliance reports to refer to their
Simplicity compliance reports as evidence char the system is operating properly.
(2) VEEDER-ROOT'S INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ROUTINE
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE CHECKS FOR OPERABILITY OR
RUNNING CONDITIONS
General
It is Veeder-Root's company policy to provide trouble-shooting manuals to trained
Veeder-Root Authorized Service Contractors(ASC's), and recommended maintenance
procedures to Veeder-Root customers.
Trouble-Shooting Manuel Procedures
The purpose of the trouble-shooting manuals is to provide Veeder-Root ASCs with
suggested procedures for diagnosing and restoring equipment and components to proper
working order. Because these procedures are suggested and should only be performed on
faulty or improperly operating equipment and components, Veeder-Root does not
recommend to its customers that they perform these procedures on normally operating
equipment and components for regulatory testing and/or inspection requirements.
Recommended Recommended Maintenance
The purpose of recommended maintenance procedures is to provide a set of preventive
maintenance routines which can improve the life of any V eeder-Root ATG system. It is
Veeder-Root's policy to include these procedures in selected Operator Manuals under the
heading of"System Periodic Maintenance Checklist". These maintenance operations are
not required by Veeder-Root to ensure operability, nor should they be construed as
required testing requirements-
(3) VEEDER-ROOT'S POSITION ON PHYSICAL INSPECTION OF
VEEDER-ROOT EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENTS BY
REGULATORY INSPECTION AGENTS.
Many states and local agencies may not require physical and/or visual inspection of leak
detection system equipment and components: however for those that do,Viceder-Root
requests that those agencies respect the following position statement:
VERDER-ROOT 4
725°owder Forel)Orme s roil OOICe sot M)3 s Slnebury.Cr OW71 TS84 s TEL JsWJ SSt-27U0 0 F?d 1880)851-2719
