After determining <br /> correct sump size, slip the sump inside or sump <br /> outside of the containment collar ring. See bonding instructions. rA,uK <br /> 2.Direct Connection for FRP tanks <br /> FRP sumps may be attached directly to FRP or <br /> FRP clad tanks without collars. Sump Riser Tubes are cut to tank diameter and are direct bonded <br /> using bond kit,Part#TA 8009 for 42 inch sumps and TA 8010 for 48 inch sumps. See bonding <br /> instructions. For steel tank direct attachment installation information,please call Western <br /> Fiberglass, Inc. direct. <br /> 3. Man ways FRP or PolyCon (HDPE) <br /> Sumps which are to be attached to man ways require a bottom and may be ordered pre-drilled for <br /> the man way cover bolt pattern and/or cut to manway size. After removing the manway lid,use it as <br /> a template for cutting and drilling the sump bottom if necessary. Caulk man way riser, set sump <br /> into position, caulk around holes set lid inside sump and bolt together. This"sandwiches" the sump <br /> between the riser and lid assembly of the <br /> tank. Use a recognized material, second, <br /> tank/man way gasket.
