APPLICATION FOR TANK REMOVAL December 18 , 1987 <br /> The City of Stockton is applying for a permit to remove the <br /> following described underground storage tank: <br /> LOCATION• <br /> Oak Park Ice Arena, 3545 Alvarado Avenue, Contact Jim Escobar, <br /> 944-8282 . Site plan attached. <br /> Note: Water and sewer services are provided to the site by <br /> California Water Service Company and City of Stockton, <br /> respectively. There are no known septic tanks within 500 <br /> feet. There is a park irrigation well approximately 480 feet <br /> south of this tank. See plot plan. <br /> CONTRACTOR: <br /> Stockton Service Station Equipment Co. , Inc. <br /> California License No. 309105, Classification: C-61, SA <br /> Workers Compensation certificate attached. <br /> TANK INFORMATION: <br /> 550 gallon capacity. Tank has housed regular gasoline. <br /> TESTING LABORATORY: <br /> California Water Laboratory, Modesto. Release form attached. <br /> PRODUCT REMOVAL: <br /> Product was removed when precision test failed October 14 , <br /> 1987 . <br /> VAPOR PURGE• <br /> Dry ice will be used at the rate of one and one-half pounds <br /> per 100 gallons of tank capacity to purge all flammable <br /> vapors. <br /> TANK REMOVAL/DISPOSAL: <br /> The tank will be moved to Stockton Service Station Equipment <br /> Co. yard at 808 N. Union Street, Stockton. It will be cut up <br /> and hauled to scrap yard. If possible it will be cut up at <br /> the job site. <br /> DV <br />
