Be aware of area where work is performed. Stay clear of excavation equipment <br /> during operations to avoid physical injury. <br /> 2. Set up a perimeter around work area with "No Smoking" signs posted to avoid fire <br /> hazards and unwanted personnel. <br /> 3. Have respirators, Tyveks suits and gloves readily available for personal protection <br /> when needed. <br /> 4. Have (2) 20Lb A:120 B-C dry chemical fire extinguisher available at all times. <br /> 5. Monitor air around excavation for any hazardous vapors. <br /> 6. All employees are to wear hard hats to avoid injuries to head area. <br /> 7. No eating, drinking or smoking at work site. <br /> 8. In the event air monitoring reached 10%b of the lower explosive limit, the site will <br /> be evacuated and the fire inspector notified. <br /> 9. In the event L.E.L reading goes above 10% inside tank, dry ice will be introduced <br /> into tank to render tank non-explosive. <br /> 10. All Cal OSHA regulations will be enforced. <br />
