Workers are <br /> encouraged to avoid use of hand-held cellular telephones while operating motor vehicles. <br /> Handheld tools should be constructed of non-sparking materials. <br /> 3.7 Training <br /> All personnel on site will be provided with on-site training that provides an awareness of the <br /> hazards of fuel vapors and power washing hazards that may be encountered. At least one person <br /> at the site will have first aid/CPR training. All workers designated for fire suppression in the <br /> work zone shall be provided with training in the operation of the fire extinguishers that will be <br /> supplied at the site. <br /> 3.8 Emergency Response Plan <br /> The Emergency Response/Contingency Plan (ER/CP) is designed to define and communicate <br /> procedures to be followed in case of an emergency. Due to the nature of this work, there is a <br /> potential for an explosion or fire to will occur if landfill gases are encountered. In case of an <br /> emergency, the Site Safety Officer shall ensure that all personnel working at the site shall know <br /> at a minimum the following evacuation procedures: <br /> CNCD.6 AR61 O2-OD68.do 3-7 <br />
