Box 388 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 PERMIUSERVICES <br /> Re: KOA Kampgrounds-2851 East Eight Mile Road-Lodi, CA 95240 <br /> Dear Jerry, <br /> Pursuant to our discussion January 5, 1995, we propose the following <br /> scope of work to further characterize and remove the gasoline <br /> contaminated soil associated with the product piping from the tanks to <br /> the dispenser island, at the subject location. <br /> 1) Cut and remove asphalt in preparation for "over excavation" . <br /> 2) Excavate a 3 ' wide x 4 ' 6" deep trench centered on the product <br /> piping from the dispenser island. (see attached drawing) <br /> 3) Place excavated material with existing stockpiled contaminated <br /> soil. <br /> 4) Obtain required analysis from contaminated stockpile to <br /> characterize for disposal at Forward, Inc. of Stockton, CA. <br /> 5) Coordinate all activities with San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services. <br /> 6) Coordinate additional confirmation samples from the pipeline <br /> excavation if required, with Geo Analytical Laboratory of <br /> Modesto. <br /> 7) Provide copies of all soil disposal transportation manifests to <br /> San Joaquin County Department of Health Services, Environmental <br /> Health Division. <br /> Thank you for your assistance in the completion of this project.
