During your visit, you brought a few items to our <br />attention. We have noted each issue below with our plan to address them. <br />Concern or Violation: <br />CCR 2632: Monitoring and response plans not current or approved by the EHD. The Leak sensor model <br />number is incorrect. The leak sensor model number is listed as 794380-301 for Tank ID #1, Tank ID #2, <br />and Tank ID 43. The correct leak sensor model is 794380-303 for all three tanks. The monitoring plan <br />must be uploaded to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). Immediately log into CERS, <br />make the necessary changes, and submit for review by the EHD. <br />Response:. <br />The Monitoring and Response plan was uploaded to CERS on 9/14/15. The submittal was for revisions to existing <br />equipment — Leak Sensors. The Underground Storage Tank (UST) submittal was accepted and approved by Garrett <br />Backus, REHS, ICC Certified UST Inspector, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, on 9/15/15. <br />Concern or Violation: <br />CCR 2712: Failed to maintain alarm logs and/or records of follow up actions. The daily alarm logs did not <br />document all alarms from the alarm history. All alarms from the alarm history need to be documented in <br />the daily alarm log and kept on site for review by the EHD. Immediately begin documenting all alarms <br />from the alarm history in the daily alarm log and have available for review. <br />Response: <br />Effective immediately 08/19/15 the facility at 2440 Daniels Street is documenting all alarms from the Veeder-Root <br />to the daily alarm log; all documentation is currently available for review by EHD. <br />Concern or Violation: <br />• HSC 25290: VPH monitoring of the interstitial spaces of the of the UST system system is not maintained. <br />The 87A STP sump product S9 vacuum sensor failed when tested. The interstitial space of the UST shall be <br />maintained, as designed, under constant vacuum such that a breach in the primary or secondary <br />containment is detected before the hazardous substance is released into the environment <br />Response: <br />The sensor was replaced and retested during the inspection; issue corrected. <br />Please let me know if there is anything we may have overlooked, or if you would like any additional information. <br />We would like to be sure we have addressed all of your concerns. <br />
