The 87-B spill container failed when tested. The drain valve had to be replaced. All spill containers <br />shall have a minimum capacity of five gallons and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is <br />detected or cleaned up. The spill container's drain valve was replaced and retested during the <br />inspection. <br />406. The 87A product - SJ smart sensor failed when tested. The interstitial space of the UST system <br />shall be maintained, as designed, under constant vacuum such that a breach in the primary or <br />secondary containment is detected before the hazardous substance is released into the environment. <br />Correct immediately by having a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor replace the failed <br />component with a functional component (LG 113-x listed, if applicable) and obtain a permit within one <br />business day from the EHD. If the failed component can't be replaced immediately, there is a possibility <br />that the 87A UST system may be red tagged by the to prevent fuel inputs EHD. <br />- Corrected on site. Technician replaced the failed component, retested & passed. Displayed no vacuum <br />& high liquid alarms. <br />Notes; <br />-Reviewed briefly over HMBP hardcopy submitted by 3E Company for Costco Wholesale.
