The Manager will in turn, contact the Environmental Cleanup
Contractor.
The Environmental Department Manager will arrange for the waste oil to be removed
from the secondary containment and for the waste oil underground storage tank to be
removed or repaired within 30 days of the discovery of the leak. As Pep Boys does not
have in-house tank repair/removal capabilities, all work will be done by outside
contractors. Any releases of waste oil from the secondary containment or pipes
discovered during the removal/repair will be immediately removed and sent for
treatment/disposal at an appropriate facility.
2.5 Agency Notification
Upon discovery of any release, the Environmental Department Manager must be contacted
by the Emergency Coordinator or his/her designee.
