Removal of any fuel in the tank <br /> 3. Excavation of one (1 ) 1 ,000 gallon underground regular gasoline tank <br /> 4. Three (3) soil samples <br /> 5. Labor <br /> 6. Disposal of the tank and petroleum dispensing equipment <br /> 7. Backfill of the hole with peagravel for compaction <br /> Total cost for the above is $4,510.00. <br /> As per our conversation the concrete sidewalk will be replaced to match existing, <br /> however, no blacktop will be replaced. <br /> Notes: <br /> 1 . If any governmental agency has any additional requirements for removal , <br /> owner will be responsible for any additional costs. <br /> 2. The bid includes the price of fuel removal , but not disposal of the fuel as <br /> no exact gallonage is available until the fuel is removed from the tank. <br /> Fuel disposal will be handled on a time and material basis. <br /> 3. Any residual fuel/water mixture, oil , sludge, sand, dirt or any other foreign <br /> matter other than product put in for said use remaining in the tank will be <br /> considered hazardous waste and must be removed by a hazardous waste hauler to . <br /> a proper hazardous waste disposal site. Owner will be responsible for any <br /> additional costs. <br /> 4. During excavation, if the tank is found to have an addition slab of concrete <br /> over it and/or is encased in concrete other than the normal 6" slab on top, <br /> we will have to bring in additional equipment. Rental equipment will be at <br /> cost plus 15% to you. Labor is $95.00 per hour for two men. <br /> 5. We will not be responsible for repair of any other underground plumbing, <br /> electrical , or any other obstruction underground during excavation of the <br /> tank. If any damage occurs , we will repair the damage on a time and material <br /> basis. <br /> 6. If for any reason any material escapes from the tank during removal , not <br /> resulting from contractor negligence, owner is responsible for any contamination <br /> caused by such loss. <br />
