Weber Avenue, 3rd Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> RE: Ryder#1071, 3633 Duck Creek Dr., Stockton, EPA ID #CAL000046984 <br /> Dear Mr. Catanyag: <br /> As of July 1, 2001, Ryder Truck Rental, Inc. has retained VERTEX SERVICES to handle <br /> environmental compliance concerns on their behalf These responsibilities encompass <br /> duties related to the management and maintenance of underground and aboveground <br /> storage tank systems and their associated compliance issues. This letter is in response to <br /> the Underground Storage Tank (UST)Program Inspection Report that was prepared <br /> following your inspection of the referenced facility on October 31, 2001. <br /> The following violation were observed: <br /> #3 This office does not have a copy of a current B Form. A blank copy has been <br /> provided. Fill out this form for each tank and submit them to this office by <br /> 12/01/01. <br /> Response: <br /> • Enclosed please find a current copy of Form B for each tank, along with an <br /> updated copy of Form A for the facility. <br /> #9 Liquid was observed in the Bulk Oil Sump. Remove the liquid in accordance to <br /> Title 22 Regulations. Correct by 12/01/01. <br /> Response: <br /> • The facility picked the liquid up with absorbents. These absorbents were then <br /> placed in their Used Absorbents container. This activity was loped and the <br /> facility will monitor the sump for 14 days.
