This <br />may take as many as three to four times reusing the same solution. <br />The contaminated material will then be vacuumed into 55 gallon <br />drums and marked. The drums will be picked up by American <br />Environmental of Sacramento and disposed of. <br />Dry Ice in an amount no less than 15 pounds per 1,000 gallon will <br />be placed into the tank throughthe fill tube. CO2saturation shall <br />be determined by visual observation of CO2 emmisions from tank <br />openings. <br />The tops of the tanks will be exposed noting the color and smell <br />of the soil that is removed, this will be done with the Local <br />Fire Dept. &/or Environmental Health Dept. Cap or plug all <br />regular openings on the tank with threaded plugs. Leave 1/8" <br />vent hole in one plug to allow for temperature expansion. <br />TANKS WILL THEN BE REMOVED AND HAULED TO CROSS EQUIPMENT COMPANY, <br />11315 SOUTH BRIDGE STREET,RANCHO CORDOVA, CALIFORNIA 95670. THE TANKS WILL <br />BE CUT UP FOR SCRAP. <br />The bottom of the hole will be visually inspected for contamination <br />by the local Fire Dept &/or Health Dept. Proceed to No. 8. <br />"IF REQUIRED" by the Fire Dept. or the Health Dept." soil <br />samples will oe taxen rrom Lne Doccom v� LILU !!vi <br />as required by the Health Dept. the results will <br />to the County before backfilling.
