We are implementing <br /> the requested changes with the exception of one snag. <br /> Mr.Ron Hiltscher of the City of Stockton Fire Inspection Division(209-937-3660)has indicated in a <br /> phone call on August 27, 1997 that they cannot issue any permits until your department does. He stated <br /> that this is the second time this had been requested that day,and that they will check with your <br /> department to straighten out this minor snag. He felt confident that it would be handled by the end of the <br /> next day. So far nothing. <br /> Ms.Foley,we would like to proceed quickly with this project in order to satisfy your department. Any <br /> suggestions,or interventions on your part would be appreciated. Possibly we could postpone item one of <br /> your letter to a later time. Mr.Hiltscher also was not sure what their role would be since this site is not <br /> planned for tank removal.
