If the backfill material and soil is found to be contaminated it must be disposed of at an <br /> approved disposal location.Treatment of soil onsite can only be performed under a hazardous <br /> waste treatment permit. <br /> 2. If the tank is found to be filled with sand,dirt,backfill material,and/or other material <br /> sampling may be required before disposal. <br /> 3. See pages 7 and 8 of the permit application for required number and locations of analytical <br /> tests for waste oil or unknown contents. <br /> 4. EHD must witness the soil sampling. Schedule the soil sampling appointment with this office <br /> 48 hours in advance. <br /> 5. A copy of the fire department permit must be submitted at the time of removal. <br /> 6. Schedule removal appointment 48 hours in advance. <br /> 7.
