Boots, rubber gloves, and respirator shall be free <br /> of soil or liquid from the exclusion zone prior to entering other areas. <br /> 9.2 Personnel Decontamination <br /> Facilities for washing and rinsing boots and outer gloves will be provided. Bag lined trash <br /> containers will be available for the disposal of tyvek coveralls, tape, gloves, and cartridges. <br /> Decon sequence is as follows: <br /> o Remove all outer duct tape. <br /> o Boot wash (water / TSP). <br /> o Boot rinse. <br /> o Outer glove wash (water / TSP). <br /> o Outer glove rinse. <br /> o Remove supplied air respirator harness/tanks. <br /> o Remove/dispose outer coveralls. <br /> o Remove/discard cartridges. <br /> o Remove respirator. <br /> o Wash face/hands. <br /> o Change into street clothing. <br /> 9.3 Emergency Decontamination <br /> Facilities and materials for decontamination shall be provided in the immediate work environment <br /> for employees to: <br /> o Immediately wash the affected area which comes into contact with any contaminated <br /> materials. <br /> o Immediately flush the eyes with copious amounts of water (15 minute continuous flush) <br /> if the eyes come into contact with any contaminated materials. <br /> 10 <br />
