Give half <br /> glass of water every <br /> 15 minutes. Do not <br /> resume work unless <br /> completely recovered. <br /> Heat Exhaustion Shallow breathing, Discontinue work; <br /> pale moist skin, victim's body must <br /> profuse sweating and be cooled down; if <br /> dizziness. conscious give half <br /> a glass of water <br /> every 15 minutes; <br /> call Emergency <br /> Response Service <br /> (911) <br /> Heat Stroke This is the most serious Discontinue work; <br /> type of heat stress. Red victim's body must <br /> hot, dry skin, no sweating cooled down immedi- <br /> nausea, dizziness, ately treat for shock <br /> rapid pulse and confusion. and give nothing by <br /> mouth, call for <br /> Emergency Response <br /> Services (911) <br /> D-8 <br />
