The workplan proposes an additional 5' of soil to be removed and at <br /> least four sidewall samples and one bottom soil sample to be collected to confirm <br /> hydrocarbon removal. The work had been postponed due to the bad weather. The City <br /> of Stockton will schedule the work this week and will provide PHS/EHD notification on <br /> the date for the over-excavation. I <br /> * The work will be completed and the documentation of the work (to include the laboratory <br /> results, chain of custody, and the soil disposal records) will be submitted to PHS/EHD for <br /> evaluation within 30 days after the completion odthe wprk. <br /> * Should the limited excavation attempt fail to remove the remaining hydrocarbons, any <br /> additional work at this site should be conducted under the guidance of a qualified <br /> professional. j <br /> i <br /> 1740 Houston Avenue <br /> * Three monitoring wells were installed last week at this site as per the workplan. Water <br /> sampling from the wells is scheduled for the third wee0of June. A report of findings <br /> should be submitted within 60 days after the completion of the work. <br /> The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 1994 at 1:30 p.m. and will be held at the <br /> PHS/EHD office.
