Laurie Cotulla <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> San Joaquin Local Health District <br /> 1601 East Hazelton Ave. <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Dear Ms. Cotulla: <br /> The following outlines the steps we have taken to determine <br /> the possible soil contamination from two underground <br /> gasoline tanks which were removed on June 1 , 1988. <br /> 6/1 /88 Soil samples removed from 15 ' depth. Results <br /> indicated detectable levels of lead and motor oil . <br /> 3. 5 mg. lead; 90 mg, motor oil . <br /> 6/30/88 San Joaquin Local Health District acknowledged <br /> test results and required Goodwill to submit a <br /> Soil Remediation Work Plan. <br /> 7/6/88 Work Plan submitted as requested. <br /> 7/ 11 /88 San Joaquin Local Health District approved Work <br /> Plan with specific direction to test at 21 ' for <br /> motor oil and total lead. Removed two samples : <br /> 1 sidewall , 1 bottom. <br /> 7/ 12/88 Backhoe excavation and samples removed at 21 ' as <br /> directed.
