Grant Line Rd.
Tracy, CA 95376
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD) has recently reviewed
the analytical results of the soil and/or water results taken from beneath the underground storage tank(s) that
were removed from this site on October 28, 1993.
The presence of contaminates at your facility exceed the allowable limits of leaching potential as recommended
by the LUFT Manual '. The former underground storage tank(s) (UST) cannot be recommended for final
closure without further investigation to determine the full extent of the soil and/or groundwater problem.
In addition, PHS/EHD is providing you notification that an "Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release
(Leak)/Contaminated Site Report" has been filed pursuant to Section 25295 (a) of the Health and Safety Code.
In addition, the appropriate disclosure of a hazardous waste discharge pursuant to Section 25180.7 of the Health
and Safety Code has been made.
Should you wish to mitigate the contamination documented at your facility, San Joaquin County PHS/EHD has
been designated by the State of California Water Resources Control Board as the local agency overseeing the
investigation of leaking UST's. Contact the PHS/EHD Site Mitigation Unit for further information regarding
this matter at (209) 468-3450.
Ernest M.
