GRANTLINE ROAD
TRACY CA 95376
RE: ANNUAL LINE TESTING REQUIREMENT
The information contained in the underground storage tank records
for the Tracy CHP facility do not indicate the materials of
construction nor whether the product lines are single or double
walled. There are specific monitoring requirements for each of
the two piping systems
The records indicate that the underground storage tank was
installed in 1976, and most likely is associated with a single -
walled steel or fiberglass product line. If this is the case,
the product line must be integrity tested annually.
A document entitled REVISED TANK MONITORING PLAN APPENDIX B
states that the line leak detector will be LR 1000 Leak Detector,
Ronan X76 Line Leak Detector or equivalent. Local Guidance
Letter, LG 113-11, has two listings for the Ronan X76. One is
certified at a leak rate of 3.0 gph with a leak threshold of
0.831, the other is certified at a leak rate of 0.1 gph with a
leak threshold of 0.066 gph.
If you have any questions please contact me at (209) 468-0335.
Respectfully,
r y YQi ka
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
