EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br /> UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> This monitoring program must be kept at the UST' location at all times. The information on this monitoring <br /> program are conditions of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Division, phone (209) 468-3420 within 30 days of any changes to the monitoring <br /> procedures, unless required to obtain approval before making the change. <br /> Required by Sections 2632(d) and 2641(h) CCR. <br /> Facility Name t,UNTERT SALES DIVISION, INC./Guntert & Zimmerman Const. Div. Inc. <br /> Facility Address 222 East Fourth Street, Ripon, CA 95366 <br /> 1. If an unauthorized release occurs, how will the hazardous substance be cleaned up? <br /> Note: If released hazardous substances reach the environment, increase the fire or <br /> explosion hazard,are not cleaned up from the secondary containment within 8 hours, <br /> or deteriorate the secondary containment, then San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Division must be notified within 24 hours: <br /> A small release will be contained and absorbed, or excavated by hand shovel. <br /> Soils and cleanup debris will be properly disposed of with an approv <br /> or problem waste facility. large releases will be handled through an <br /> environmental general contractor emergency response contractor. <br /> contractor is TT(?o treongn oa <br /> 2. Describe the proposed methods and equipment to be used for removing and properly <br /> disposing of any hazardous substances: <br /> Spilled product will be collected using hand shovels absorbent pads browns <br /> and other collection devices as necessary for small spills. The material <br /> will then be containerized for disposal. For large releases, ear ving equipment <br /> will used y the oon rac or. <br /> 3. Describe the location and availability of the required cleanup equipment in item 2 <br /> above: <br /> Earthmoving equipment will be available from the contractor on an as needed <br /> basis. Shovels, brooms, absorbent materials and other collection devices are <br /> available in the truck shop adiacent to the fueling area <br /> 4. Descnbe the maintenance schedule for the cleanup equipment: <br /> Absorbents are checked on an annual basis and replaced as used. Handtools, <br /> shovels, brooms, etc. are in daily use and replaced when damaged or worn. <br /> 5.
