Fremont Street <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> 209-948- 1814 <br /> The project manager , and the health and safety coordinator is <br /> Keith A. Tallia of Oil Equipment Service . The site safety officers <br /> at the ,job site will be Keith A. Tallia of Oil Equipment Service. <br /> The alternate site safety officer will be Robert M . Dragomanovich <br /> of Oil Equipment Service . <br /> Oil Equipment Service will have on the site two (2) fire extinguishers <br /> and one ( 1 ) first-aid kit within 50 ' of the tank location . See <br /> attached map . No smoking will be permitted within 50 ' of the tank <br /> or areas where flammable vapors are present . <br /> Oil Equipment Service shall notify the local Fire Department 48 hours <br /> before excavation shall begin . USA will also be notified before <br /> excavation of job . <br /> Tanks must be empty of product before start of job . Nor Cal Oil Co. <br /> will triple rinse tanks with soap and water . Rinse will be hauled <br /> away by Nor Cal Oil Co . waste hazardous hauler . Tanks will be dry <br /> iced , 30 pounds of dry ice per 1 , 000 gallons , before excavating. <br /> Oil Equipment Service shall monitor tanks with a Combustible Gas <br /> Indicator (CGI ) and seal all openings before tanks will be transported. <br /> At no time will anyone cut or weld on the tank. Tanks will be <br /> secured on truck after extraction for transportation . Tanks and <br /> plumbing will be hauled by S & R Rentals Inc. to Triangle Inc , of <br /> Sacramento to be properly disposed of via destruction . <br /> Oil Equipment Service will approach all tank excavation with possible <br /> cave-ins . The following rules will be followed to prevent any <br /> mishaps : 1 ) soil to be inspected for stability before and after <br /> tank is removed , 2) soil is to be kept at least two (2) feet from <br /> the edge of an excavation , 3) if excavation is five (5) feet or <br /> more the hole shall be tapered , braced, or other equivalent methods <br /> shall be used to prevent possible cave-ins .
