r <br /> Upon arrival to the laboratory, the samples' condition was checked and any nonconformaties <br /> were noted Copies of signed laboratory reports are included as Appendix C of this report <br /> 2.3 Existing Well Sampling <br /> The existing water well was sampled in conjunction with the dulling and soil sampling efforts <br /> at the site to assess groundwater quality The well was checked for the presence of free <br />' product utilizing an interface probe No free product layer was encountered. <br /> Groundwater was sampled using the dedicated pump installed within the well. The water <br /> sample was placed in appropriate containers supplied by the laboratory. Care was taken that <br />' no headspace is present in sample bottles which were analyzed for volatile organic <br /> compounds. Once the sample was collected, the bottles was placed in "ziploc" bags and <br /> sealed with security tape. The sample was stored in an ice chest with water ice until delivery <br /> to the on-site mobile laboratory <br /> The water samples were analyzed by a California state certified mobile analytical laboratory. <br /> The sample was analyzed utilizing the methods and detection limits shown below <br /> ANALYSIS NAME SAMPLE METHOD DETECTION LIMIT <br /> CONTAINER (ppb) <br />' BTEX Three 40ml EPA 03 <br /> (benzene, volatile organic MODIFIED 0.3 <br /> toluene, vials with HCl 8020 0.3 <br /> ethyl benzene, 05 <br /> total xylenes) <br />' TPH as diesel Two one liter DHS GC-FID <br /> amber bottles MODIFIED 50 <br /> with HCl (8015) <br /> NOTE TPH — Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons <br /> r <br /> The sample was hand delivered to the onsite laboratory in a chilled ice chest with appropriate <br /> chain of custody forms Upon arrival to the laboratory the samples' condition was checked <br /> and any nonconformatxes were noted on the chain of custody forms (Appendix B) Copies of <br /> signed laboratory reports are included as Appendix C of this report. <br /> MZJ12-08-931ENG193-1065 nbr <br /> 4 <br />
