The tanks were <br />gauged ed for fluid; one tank was empty, and the southern tank had approximately 6 inches of <br />water within the tank. James Robinson informed the buyer's realtor that a permit may be <br />necessary to remove the tanks from the site and that a hazardous materials certified contractor <br />may be needed to continue under a permit to remove the tanks. <br />No visibly contaminated soils were observed above or directly adjacent to the two tanks. The <br />soils beneath the tanks were not observed, <br />LIMITATIONS <br />Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed <br />in accordance with generally accepted principles and practices. Soil <br />samples are collected from a small "representative area of soil." These samples are assumed to <br />represent the chemical makeup of the general area; as such, there may be variations in <br />adjacent soils. To further reduce the client's liabilities, additional samples may be collected and <br />analyzed to lower the possibility of generalizing the conditions and/or not locating an area of <br />impacted soils at the site. Changes in conditions at the property may occur with time due to <br />natural processes or works of man on the property or adjacent properties. <br />Changes in applicable standards may also occur as a result of legislation or broadening of <br />knowledge.
