Anderson & Associates provide information
related to the discovery and removal of the underground storage tanks located at 6426 E.
Haight Road, Lodi, California.
James Robinson of Neil 0. Anderson and Associates, Inc. was contacted on August 14, 2007 in
regards to the subject address. James Robinson met the buyer's realtor out at the site and
discussed the information received from the current tenant (Ray Aoyama) of the property. The
Tenant "Ray" indicated that a fuel pump was located at the eastern side of the existing
structure. Ray indicated that a while back (over 20 years ago) the pumps were removed.
When asked if the tanks had also been removed, Ray indicated that he did not know.
NOA conducted a file search at the San Joaquin County, Department of Environmental Health
for records of underground storage tanks. No records were located.
NOA informed the realtor that there is no records of the tanks and that the only information we
have is from someone who saw the pumps and was not involved in the pump removals;
therefore, NOA recommended that a backhoe be brought to the site and that the area be
investigated for tanks or piping. NOA recommended that if tanks or piping were located that
the tanks not be moved and that the fill and vent holes be located.
NDA was contacted on August 16, 2007; a backhoe had located the tanks and would like NOA
to provide direction. James Robinson inspected the site and observed two approximately 500 -
gallon single wall underground storage tanks and associated piping, James Robinson used a
PID (HNU-101) to determine if any residual vapors were within the two underground tanks.
LODI • SACRAMENT© RENO • MODESTO • WALNUT CREEK
L 0 D 1 902 Industrial 'Way Lodi.
