The permit has been <br /> approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Garrett Backus at (209) 468-2986 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br /> aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br /> approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality— vent sump sensor: Functionality of the monitoring system must <br /> be verified to ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of <br /> Title 23 California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. <br /> b. Primary piping soap test before backfill: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% <br /> of operating pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br /> c. Secondary piping soap test before backfill: One hour pressure test per <br /> manufacturer's guidelines. If there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be <br /> performed using an applicable method specified in an industry code or engineering <br /> standard. <br /> d. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on transition vent sump, after backfill and <br /> concrete is dry. <br /> e. Secondary containment testing on the vent line, after backfill and concrete is dry. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br />
