Hammer Lane
Stockton
San Joaquin County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the revised "PROBLEM ASSESSMENT
REPORT" dated February 27, 1990.
Your recommendation to replace monitoring wells $3 , 4 and 5,
provided winter rains do not recharge the wells, should proceed
according to Tri-Regional and LUFT guidelines.
A proposal for further assessment and/or remediation for the above
referenced site should be submitted to this office by June 15,
1990.
Also, it appears that product lines still remain in the vicinity of
the old pump islands. As stated in your letter of January 6, 1986,
all associated tank lines will be removed. This is to be done
under permit and inspection from Unit III (Underground Tanks) of
PHS/EHD.
If you have and questions, please contact Greg Lyon, EHS, of my
staff at (209) 468-3450.
Jogi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H.
Health Off er
/ `V i,C REHS, Director Copy
\ .- Environmental Health DivisionRV/ER:nr
Enc: Exxon letter dated 1/6/86
cc: CRWQCB-Gordon L.
