Removal of Product-Delivery lines November 5, 1990
Former Exxon Station No. 7-1050, Stockton, California AGS 30045-1
laboratory analysis, evaluating whether hydrocarbons were present at the limits of further
excavation beneath piping trenches, and arranging for appropriate disposal of the soil
removed by excavation. This report describes the work associated with the investigation,
summarizes and discusses the analytical results obtained, and presents our interpretation of
the results.
BACKGROUND
Site Description
The site is on the northwest corner of the intersection of West Hammer Lane and Lower
Sacramento Road in Stockton, California, as shown on the Site Vicinity Map (Plate P-1).
The site is at an elevation of approximately 20 feet above mean sea level (United States
Geological Survey, 1976). It is our understanding, based on information supplied by Exxon,
that four underground storage tanks were formerly located at the site. We understand these
tanks were used to store regular leaded gasoline, regular unleaded gasoline, extra unleaded
gasoline, and waste-oil. According to conversations with personnel of Exxon, these
underground storage tanks were removed from the site in 1986 and the site has
2
App/Zed GeoSystems
