Vapors or mists may cause pulaonary <br />irritation, dizziness, nausea, or unconsciousness, particularly in confined <br />spaces. Similar hydrocarbon mixtures, tested by the American Petroleum Institute, <br />have caused skin cancers in test animals. Wile there is no evidence that this <br />particular mixture is carcinogenic to animals or to humans, good personal hygiene <br />is advised. <br />ROUTE OF EXPOSURE <br />EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE -. <br />EYE CONTACT <br />Non -irritating as a liquid; exposure to mists may Cause eye <br />irritation. <br />Prolonged or repeater-nntact may cause skin irritation, <br />SKIN CONTACT <br />dermatitis or other seri,;,•3 skin disorders. <br />INHALATION <br />Respiratory irritation, dizziness, headache, nausea, central <br />nervous system depression. <br />INGESTION <br />Gastrointestinal irritation, vanit#e, diarrhea, restlessness, <br />central nervous system depression in severe cases. <br />SKINABSORPTION <br />SECTION IV - EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES <br />EYE CONTACT: Flush with large amounts of low pressure water for at least 15 minutes. <br />If irritation persists, obtain medical attention. <br />SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing.
