b. Fire Protection <br /> All flammable liquids must be stored in appropriate containers. Gasoline and Diesel-driven engines must <br /> be shut down prior to refueling. No smoking or possible sources of ignition(i.e. motor vehicles or <br /> welding) are allowed within 50 feet of the excavation tank of the stockpiled soil. <br /> c. General Health <br /> - The drinking of alcoholic beverages on-site is prohibited. <br /> - Driving at excessive speeds on-site is prohibited. <br /> - Unless approved by a physician,medication should not be taken by workers prior to tank removal <br /> activities. <br /> - It is required that contact lenses not be worn by tank removal personnel. <br /> - Eating or drinking is permitted only in the support zone and only after proper personal <br /> decontamination. <br /> - No smoking except in the support zone. <br /> d. Environmental Site Contaminants <br /> Gasoline fuel contamination of the soil may be encountered during tank removal activities. A material <br /> safety data sheet(MSDS)for gasoline fuel is included as part of this plan.
