I have been working to obtain the requested
information from our vendor, Ryder Fuel Services, who has been trying to obtain the information requested from their
subcontractor. We have been very frustrated with the amount of time this has taken but have continued to push them
for the required documentation.
Violation#301: l have attached a Work Order for the work related to the violations at the Tracy Hub. In addition, I have
also attached alarm history reports that were generated once the work was completed. It is our understanding that
newer fuel systems undergo a "burping" process where dissolved gases settles out and may create air pockets. In these
instances, brine may need to be added until the burping process is complete.
Violation#305: 1 have attached a Work Order for the work related to the violations at the Tracy Hub. In these
instances, brine may need to be added until the burping process is complete.
Violation#316: We spoke with our fuel system design engineers regarding this matter and based on your tip, they
reached out to Bravo who explained that this is a known issue with the Gilbarco 700 dispensers. Bravo has a clip-on
plate that is designed to retrofit these dispensers to comply with the California H&S Code. We are in the process of
sourcing those plates and will plan to install them as soon as they are available. We will move expeditiously to install the
Bravo plates to ensure that the Gilbarco dispensers and associated UDCs are in compliance with the regulations. We
have attached specifications and installation instructions for these deflector plate clips for your reference.
With regard to the liquid found in the containment sumps, the technician identified this liquid as water and disposed of
it through the oil/water separator on site.
Violation#318: A line leak detection test was completed and a work orde d h m letion notes are attached for
your reference. In addition, I have also attached alarm history reports thaHE era ce the work was
completed. -
Thank you,
DEC 2 0 2017
Deb
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
Debra B.
