Identify the method of disposal of all residual liquid, <br /> solid, or sludge, if applicable. <br /> All liquid fuel will be pumped out and stored in our above ground <br /> fuel tanks for use. Diesel residual will be pumped out by All <br /> American Oil Company for recycle. Gasoline residual will be <br /> pumped out and reused or disposed of . No residual solids or <br /> sludge are expected. Disposal of any hazardous waste will be <br /> manifested and transported to the Chemical Waste Management <br /> facility in Rettleman Hills, California. <br /> 1 7. Identify how the tanks will be purged of all flammable vapors <br /> to preclude explosion or to levels specified by existing <br /> regulations. <br /> Prior to removal of the two tanks from the ground, dry ice will <br /> be placed in the tanks at the rate of 20 pounds per 1,000 gallons <br /> of tank. The tanks will not be removed until the oxygen level <br /> drops below 12%. <br /> 8. Method of disposal or reuse: <br /> b. If an underground storage tank or any part of an <br /> underground storage tank is destined-for rgpse asscrap <br /> material, identify this reuse to the San Joaquin Local <br /> Health District. <br /> The underground storage tank shall be removed by the contractor <br /> and cut up for scrap material at the work site. The scrap <br /> material will then be hauled off by the contractor. <br /> I have also enclosed a copy of the fee worksheet and a check for <br /> $180 to cover permanent closure fees for two tanks .
