April 23 , 1985
Mr. Doug Sinclair
Campbell Soup Co.
6200 Franklin Blvd.
I
Sacramento, CA 95824
RE: Tank Removal - Stockton Plant
Dear Mr. Sinclair:
This letter is in response to our telephone conversation regarding
American Environmental Management's observations of the tank we
removed in Stockton on January 2, 1985.
Experienced American Environmental Management Corporation (AEMC)
personnel examined the tank after removal and were unable to de-
tect any lack of structural integrity (leaks) . The soil below
the tank was also inspected for any signs of leakage and possible
volatiles. None were detected.
The tank was then removed from the site by a registered hazardous
waste hauler, AEMC, routed to the AEMC facility, cleared of all
residue, cut to render unuseable as a tank, and delivered to a
local scrap dealer.
We hope the above meets with your approval. AEMC appreciates
having had the opportunity to provide the above services. If I
can be of any further assistance, please feel free to call me at
my office.
Sincerely, n
G L1- --` ,
Edward Leitch
Operations Manager
Environmental Division
EL/d
w;
71855 Ahte:ock dOca.Rancho Corawa California 96670/(916)985-6666
