These Wills -require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of all underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District' Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br />! cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br />� for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br />� program. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br />� services, will be billed on a vearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br />� will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56/tank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br />� fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> ~ <br /> . To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee <br /> Workaheet 'and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and Payable February <br /> 3, 1986. Fees received after March 6, 1986 are subject to 100% penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank � <br /> Program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental Health | <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops: � <br /> 1. Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday, February 3, 1986, 2 PM <br /> . 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informational workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District Board Room, 1601 G. Hazelton Ave., Stockton, CA.
