The 87 line secondary containment did not drain to the tank top sump liquid sensor. The <br />secondary containment line Schrader valve was installed. Any potential release from the primary <br />containment into the secondary containment in the 87 piping did not flow into a collection sump. All <br />secondary containment systems shall be sloped so that all releases will flow to a collection sump located <br />at the low point of the underground piping. <br />The testing technician removed the Schrader valve, restoring 87 line secondary containment drainage to <br />the sump. Violation resolved. <br />305. The 87 turbine sump liquid sensor failed to activate an audible and visual alarm when tested to <br />ensure continuous monitoring of the tank system. All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to <br />activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br />The sensor was replaced and retested during the inspection. Violation resolved. <br />313. The 91 octane direct -bury spill container failed when tested. All spill containers shall have a <br />minimum capacity of five gallons and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or <br />cleaned up. Immediately discontinue deposition of petroleum into this tank until the component is <br />repaired or replaced by a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor under permit and inspection <br />of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). If the spill container can't be <br />replaced immediately, the 91 octane UST system may be red tagged to prevent fuel inputs.
