Model 4885 Thread On P/V Vent • <br /> Apply fuel resistant pipe sealant to the threads on the 2" vent stack. Screw the PN Vent onto <br /> the vent stack and tighten to a range of 20 to 50 ti-lbs with a suitable wrench. DO NOT <br /> OVER-TIGHTEN. Periodic maintenance is recommended(see below). <br /> MAINTENANCE <br /> Annually inspect the P!V Vent valve for foreign objects without removing the PN Vent <br /> valve from the vent pipe by using the following procedure: <br /> I. Remove the screws that holds the top cover on. <br /> 2. Remove anv debris that might be sitting inside the lower cover. <br /> 3. Check the drain holes in the lower cover for blocka_se. <br /> 4. The two('_) screens should not be removed. <br /> 5. Reinstall the top cover and retaining screws. <br /> 6.
