A plot plan is attached to this letter. <br /> 3. The name of the contractor who will be responsible for tank removal is the <br /> R & R Service Station Maintenance, 3337 Keller Street, Modesto, Ca. 95353; <br /> phone 209 577-1386; contractor license number 257130. This business is run <br /> by Mr. Charles A. Ryan who does service station repair work including tank <br /> installation and reneval. Mr. Ryan works independently, has no employees and <br /> does not have workers compensation insurance. I understand that he sub- <br /> contracts such services as backhoe work. <br /> 4. The tank at the Van Allen School site is presumed to be a 500 gallon tank of <br /> metal construction which is used to store diesel fuel. <br /> 5. The laboratory that will collect soil samples and provide a "Release of Inform- <br /> ation Authorization," form signed by John J. Mostowski, representing the Escalon <br /> TTnified School District, will be California ',later Laboratory, 1430 Carpenter <br /> Lane, Modesto, California 95351; phone 209 527-4050; contact person, Bill Pox. <br /> 6. Residual liquid will be used as fuel. <br /> 7. Tank will be purged with dry ice at minimal weight of 15 lbs. per 1000 gallons. <br /> 8.
