These Bills, require <br /> n a <br /> the inventory, inspectiund permitting of all underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforce-ment agency for the <br /> cities and unincorporated areas within San Jma-Iuin County. State law provides <br /> fnr a fee system to cover the cost of implenentinQ this state mandated <br /> proeram. <br /> ` Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectionaI <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br /> will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $66/tank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharqe fee per, tank will be charged every five years or <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate' complete the atta hed Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and p~-yabIe 30 days <br /> from date of this letter. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank � <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health District' Division of Environmental � <br /> Health Staff, will be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 8-12 noon � <br /> and 1-S p .m. <br />� If you have any questions regarding this, please contact C.
