Phillip Lyman Project Coordinator <br /> SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES OF SUPERVISORS <br /> Each supervisor shall be responsible for maintaining an <br /> accident prevention program and shall adhere to the following <br /> requirements as a basic outline to accomplish such. <br /> 1 . An on the job training program to instruct employees in <br /> proper and safe work practices . Provide instruction as to <br /> possible hazards and removal or correction of such hazards <br /> where applicable to insure greater safety. <br /> 2 . Conduct frequent inspection of job site, equipment and work <br /> practices and correct any unsafe conditions or procedures . <br /> 3 . Supervisors shall conduct safety meetings at least once a <br /> month. It shall also be the supervisors responsibility to <br /> see that all employees have a "field" safety meeting at <br /> least every ten (10) working days . <br /> 4 . Be sure every employee has read and understands the code of <br /> safe operations and is familiar with the contents of this <br /> safety program. <br /> SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EMPLOYEES <br /> The employee should be primarily concerned with his or her own <br /> safety and secondly with the safety of other employees and <br /> bystander (or other things) around them.
