0 i <br /> BANKS&CO. <br /> A. Any employee flagging or working in traffic will be <br /> furnished and required to wear a fluorescent warning <br /> vest . <br /> B. Always be alert and aware of the traffic at all times . <br /> C. Always work within the established barricades or traffic <br /> barriers . Proper precautions and warnings will be used <br /> if it becomes necessary to temporarily leave the <br /> barricaded area . <br /> D. Proper warning, directive, routing signs and barricades <br /> shall be in place for as long as is necessary to complete <br /> the work within highway right of ways . <br /> E . Never assume that traffic sees you. Use vehicle lights <br /> and flashers to warn others of your presence while <br /> setting up traffic signs and barricades . <br /> F. Because of the various and changing patterns of traffic, <br /> conditions and work areas it would be impossible to list <br /> and diagram all possible situations . A supervisor will <br /> be present and direct all traffic detours and <br /> coordinating efforts to insure safe traffic controls and <br /> employee safety. <br /> G. On foggy days do not attempt to work on busy streets or <br /> highways until adequate visibility is obtained. <br /> H. In foggy conditions, double up on barricades around work <br /> site and be alert . <br /> J. Never leave an excavation open or improperly barricaded. <br /> EMERGENCE' MEDICAL PROCEDURES <br /> A. Each employee shall make himself aware of the location of <br /> all emergency equipment, procedures and telephone <br /> numbers . <br /> B. First aid kits are located behind the seat in every <br /> company truck. <br /> C. Emergency procedure is outlined in this program and a <br /> copy is in the glove compartment of each company truck. <br /> D.
