(AGE)has prepared this work <br /> plan for collection and analysis of soil samples from the underground storage tank (UST) piping <br /> areas at 1126 East Pine Street,Lodi, California. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A <br /> plan of the piping area is illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)and as necessary for the procurement of a soil boring permit. The work is being <br /> performed to determine if an unauthorized release of hydrocarbons has occurred at the site in the <br /> piping trench and dispenser island areas prior to the abandonment or removal and replacement of the <br /> UST piping, <br /> The subject property is located in the east-central portion of the City of Lodi, San Joaquin County, <br /> on the southwest comer of East Pine Street and Cluff Street.Land use of the surrounding properties <br /> is both commercial and light industrial. The subject site is the location of a petroleum distribution <br /> facility. <br /> DRILLING AND SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTION <br /> AGE proposes to advance seven soil probe borings using GeoProbe"direct-push"techniques.AGE <br /> proposes soil probe borings in the general areas of the existing piping trench and dispenseuislands. <br /> Proposed probe boring locations are illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> Borings will be advanced to depths of approximately six to eight feet below surface grade(bsg).area. <br /> 837 Shaw Road,Scockton, California 95215 <br /> Telephone (209)467-1006 FAX(209) 467-1118 <br />
